How much do you know about Korean traditional food?
My firends and I went 부여 (Buyeo)  and we visited a restaurant famous for traditional food: 백제의집, It was so delicious, very expensive though.   They served so much food that we could not finish it all.

Yeongwol

Yeongwol County (Yeongwol-gun) is a county in Gangwon Province, South Korea.
Well known as the place where King Danjong, the sixth king of Joseon Dynasty, was exiled when he was forced to abdicate by his uncle, who became Sejo of Joseon. It is also where Danjong was buried after he was murdered in 1457, following the attempts by six martyred ministers to restore him to power, after he was perceived to be a continuing threat to the rule of his uncle. It is also where the Joseon Dynasty poet Kim Sat-gat is buried.

From the bus terminal to this UNESCO World Heritage, the easiest and most convenient thing to do is taking a taxi, it will be faster and not expensive since it is not that far (taxi fee it's just 3,500 Korean Won)

How traditional markets look like in Korea?
This one is Dongmun Market in Jeju Island. There were lots of sea food and oranges, there were even orange chocolates. Interesting, right?

Kimchi Kan Museum

Going to Kimchi museum is a 'must' if you like Korean gastronomy!
It is located in Seoul and if you visit their website to buy the tickets beforehand you can get discount prices!
They have English speakers explaining each step to make your own Kimchi (you can actually take it home with you so you'd better pay attention and prepare a good Kimchi!).

Insadong

Insa-dong (인사동), located in the heart of the city, is an important place where old but precious and traditional goods are on display. There is one main road in Insa-dong with alleys on each side. Within these alleys are galleries, traditional restaurants, traditional teahouses, and cafes. The galleries are the heartbeat of Insa-dong. There are about 100 galleries in the area and you can see every example of traditional Korean fine art from paintings to sculptures. The most famous galleries are Hakgojae Gallery, which functions as the center of folk art, Gana Art Gallery, which promotes many promising artists, and Gana Art Center.

Gyeongju - 경주

Spring in Korea

Spring season in Korea is usually between March and May. The warmer weather causes trees and grass to bud, but the temperature can also vary greatly, causing seasonal occurrences. Spring time, cherry blossoms are popular, actually brought to Korea from Japan during the colonial period.

Awesome Deajeon Sunset

There is this popular city in South Korea called Deajeon (대전). It is actually Korea's fifth largest metropolis. I had the chance to visit it on my first month in Korea and I think there is no need to describe that sunset that welcomed me. Just take a loot at the pics and you'd understand how I felt that day. That was also the first time I saw those "couple locks" that people leave there symbolizing everlasting love.

Korean Autumn

The autumn season in Korea is between September and November. The weather is cool and crisp, and the sky is blue with few clouds. Koreans refer to autumn as the season of cheongomabi ("the sky is high and horses get fat").
I took the following pictures around my campus and places around the city where I live.

Buyeo (부여)

These pictures were taken in 부여 (Buyeo), a city with a great historical background (during the Three Kingdoms Era). I visited Baekje Cultural Land (백제문화단), some museums, Lotte Resort and other areas. The city is not very big so it was easy to move around and visit those places. ______________________________________________________________
